Play meets technology at the Resilience & Innovation Facility: launch on 1 March

Terre des hommes Foundation launches in Bucharest a unique centre equipped with 3D technology especially for children. They will be able to follow 3D printing workshops, exploring their own talents and skills and "playing" creatively. Both Romanian and Ukrainian children are expected in the Resilience & Innovation Facility at 1 Lascăr Catargiu Street, which has modular spaces for learning through play, non-formal education, creativity and technical and digital skills workshops. Activities will take place on a registration basis.

At the launch on 1 March, children and young people aged 7 to 18 are invited to workshops that combine science and creativity.

 Wednesday 1 March 2023, 12.00 - 18.00

1 Lascăr Catargiu Street (Roman Square)

To support Ukrainian refugee children, our activities over the past year have focused on psychosocial support for families, i.e. support to protect their mental balance and well-being. Our teams help Ukrainian families to connect with the Romanian community and provide them with the resources to cope with practical problems and alleviate the suffering caused by war and uprooting. As a foundation dedicated to children's rights, we focus all our attention on the children and young people, whom we help to cope with new realities.

The centre was opened in partnership with UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency).
